In this intensive and immersive crash course, participants will get an overall understanding for how scent can be used as a powerful tool for cultural interpretation and public engagement. Through focused discussion and practical examples, you will learn how to thoughtfully integrate olfactory experiences into exhibitions, education, and public programming. The session introduces key theories, ethical considerations, and design strategies for creating meaningful, multisensory visitor experiences in GLAM (Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum) settings.
