Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to Aromatherapy: Discover the science behind holistic aromatherapy, and how plant extracts can be used to improve body, mind and spirit. Understand how aromatherapy interacts with the body to produce therapeutic effects, and the intricate connection between scent and emotion. Learn how we can work with essential oils to impact mental and emotional health, as well as support immunity, skin health, respiratory health and pain management.
The Distillation Process: Discover the central role of distillation in producing high-quality essential oils.
Essential Oil Showcase: Work and blend with seven different essential oils throughout the workshop, and sample additional oils from Amy's lab.
Blending Techniques: Learn the fundamentals of blending essential oils to create effective aromatherapy formulas and products.
Hands-On Experience: Get practical experience by making your own aromatherapy spray, body oil, and stock blend for use in diffusers. You'll come away with three of your own custom creations!
