SYSTEMATIC OF SCENT : SPICE PART I [COLD SPICES]

Inspired by his Systematic of Scents, Pierre Bénard Ségu invites you to THE SPICY AREA, an immersive training dedicated to the spicy raw materials used in perfumery. 

This educational approach provides a true methodology for understanding olfactory connections and structuring creative work.

THE SPICY AREA takes place over a weekend and includes two 2-hour sessions, each followed by a 30-minute interactive Q&A.

The training is built on an intrinsic organization of spicy olfactory notes, divided into two essential subclasses:

• Cold Spicy Notes [piperaceae, false peppers, etc...]
• Warm Spicy Notes [zingiberaceae, cinnamoms, eugenols, etc...]

The first session, held on Saturday, focuses on THE COLD SPICE. The second session, on Sunday, explores THE WARM SPICE.

Training objectives:

• Enrich one’s olfactory culture and perfume organ through the theme of spices
• Immerse participants in the heart of this distinctive olfactory family
• Understand the relationships and connections between spicy notes
