Carla Seipp is a fragrance and beauty writer/creative strategist with a background in trend forecasting. Her work examines scent as an identity and cultural marker, and explores the psychological dimensions of consumer behavior in beauty.

She co-edited The Essence: Discovering the World of Scent, Perfume and Fragrance (gestalten, 2019) and won the Fragrance Foundation UK's 2022 Jasmine Award for her article "Is AI Threatening the Role of the Perfumer?" Her writing has appeared in BeautyMatter, Konfekt, Basenotes, and Twin.
