In this class, we will explore the vibrant and diverse world of fruity materials in perfumery—ranging from exotic tropical fruits and crisp green fruits to ripe stone fruits and deep berries. Fruity materials have long been used to express freshness, sensuality, and immediacy, but in contemporary fragrance, they also serve as tools for storytelling, emotion, and contrast. As consumer preferences shift toward fragrances that are playful, addictive, and complex, the role of fruit has expanded.
This session will provide a foundational understanding of natural and synthetic fruity materials.
