- An overview of the history of the apothecary tradition through historical texts, formulas, sales and marketing in the 19th century
- Introduction to botanicals used in early Citrus Floral perfumes and period fragrance extraction techniques
- Food and beverage pairings to introduce and identify isolated fragrance notes
- Evaluating three Citrus Floral themed perfumes
- A look at historical formulas, early synthetic aroma chemicals, and perfumery approaches
- Presenting materials composing our Perfumer’s Organ curated for the class
- Building our own accords and presenting first iterations to the class
- Make modifications and compound final Perfume Formula
